Differential pressure transmitter

The model DPT-20 is used in the measurement of differential pressures. Typical applications are level and flow measurements and also filter and pump monitoring.

For level measurement, the DPT-20 is used for monitoring a closed vessel and registers the hydrostatic filling pressure. If the vessel shape is stored as a pressure-volume curve, it can calculate the volume of any tank form and represent this directly on the display. Transmission to a connected process control system is also possible.

If the DPT-20 is combined with a primary flow element, such as restriction orifice or a Venturi tube, it can measure the flow within pipelines. You will also find primary flow elements in the extensive WIKA portfolio.
